Latest reports say that the new Hyundai Grand i10 might launch in India in October 2019. It will get a full design makeover and an updated feature list. It will continue to take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift.
Hyundai Grand i10 just received a mid-cycle update last year and already Hyundai has started testing next-generation of Grand i10. It is spotted multiple times testing with heavy camouflage. The new i10 will receive a host of cosmetic upgrades along with some feature upgrades as well. Currently, it comes with a torque converter AT, which might be replaced by a new AMT version. The new Hyundai Grand i10 is expected to launch by October 2019.
For the very first time, the new Hyundai Grand i10 was spotted testing out of India. For the past few weeks, it has been spotted 2-3 times in India. The global-spec i10 is relatively smaller than the Indian version of i10.

However, the new i10 will be the same globally, including the Indian market. The specs and features will be different for every other market, but the dimensions remain the same across all markets. Although, the new i10 will focus more on cabin space and rear legroom.
It is reported that the new i10 will borrow many design cues from the upcoming Elantra facelift. It would get a hexagonal front grille, wider headlamps and tail lamps on the exterior portion of the hatchback.
Now, the current i10 comes with many features that are perfect for its segment. So, there would not be many feature upgrades as such. It might get a larger infotainment system, an electric sunroof and a revised MID cluster.

The new Hyundai Grand i10 will mostly continue with the 1.2 Litre petrol and 1.2 Litre diesel engines. The petrol engine produces 83 HP and 114 Nm torque. The diesel engine produces 74 BHP of power and 190 Nm of torque.
However, the main upgrade will come with the transmission. The next-gen hatchback will get a new AMT gearbox, replacing the current torque converter unit.
The prices of the new Hyundai Grand i10 might increase a bit over the current price. Currently, the Grand i10 starts from Rs 4.73 Lakhs and goes up to Rs 7.50 Lakhs. The new i10 can start from Rs 4.85 Lakhs and go up to Rs 7.6 Lakhs (prices ex-showroom).
