A video of new Hyundai Grand i10 has been surfacing online and we bring you the heavily camouflaged version which has been spotted testing.
Hyundai is prepping up hard to launch the new Grand i10 into the Indian market which will follow the company’s fluidic design. It is expected to launch around Diwali 2019.
New Hyundai Grand i10 Exteriors
The latest spy video seems to be of the top-spec variant of the hatchback. The exteriors of the car get new dual tone alloy wheels and borrow quite a design from Hyundai Elantra. The cascade signature grille, wider headlamps and tail-lamps are some of the highlights of what borrowed design may look like. Fog lamps, LED DRL’s and turn indicators on ORVM’s can be seen. The overall design of the new Hyundai Grand i10 looks modern and sleek.

Interiors
The interiors are not quite visible but it’s likely to borrow some design from the Santro. The turbine like AC vents and the gear knob are the one. The hatchback is likely to get a new touchscreen infotainment system, a new steering wheel and a couple of more features which will give it’s rival a run for their money.
Engine and Transmission
The new Hyundai Grand i10 is likely to retain the current-gen 1.2L petrol motor which churns out 83bhp with 113Nm of torque. The car will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Also, the 4-speed torque converter will be replaced by 5-speed AMT. Expect the engine to be launched with BS-VI compliance as per the new emission norms since the car will be launching during the festive period. The diesel engine may be discontinued as costs for developing smaller diesel engine goes higher. However, no official statement from Hyundai has been made yet.
