Digital automobile artists have a knack of creating something truly remarkable that a lot of people wouldn’t have imagined.
A prominent digital artist has created a new-gen Tata Nano and visualized it in a completely different avatar. Nano was an erstwhile cheapest vehicle in the world. That is what led to its success, as well as failure. While a lot of people appreciated the affordability factor, others were not so impressed by the tag of being the cheapest car in the country. Resultantly, after an initial healthy sales record, the volume kept getting reduced as the time progressed and Tata had to finally pull the plug due to low demand as well as increasing emission and safety regulations. Nevertheless, automobile enthusiasts keep coming up with enticing iterations of the Nano.

New-Gen Tata Nano Visualized
This illustration has been rendered by SRK Designs on YouTube. The video clearly informs that this Nano sports an SUV silhouette. This is very much in line with the latest trend that we’ve been seeing highlighting a cross between SUV and hatchback segments. Maruti S-Presso is a prime example of that. This Nano wears the typical fascia of all modern Tata cars. This includes LED DRLs on the bonnet that are flanked by a sleek grille with the Tata logo in the middle. Apart from that, the main headlamp cluster is positioned on the extreme edges of the bumper.

One could also witness the chunky and rugged-looking bumper at the front with a large radiator grille area. The practical roof rails are also visible in this video. On the sides, this Nano comes equipped with flush-fitting door handles and black side pillars. The wheel arches are prominent and the black side cladding lends a sporty look. Towards the rear, the upright and tall body stance becomes apparent which is what is reminiscent of the original Nano micro car. Finally, the design of the wheel covers/alloys is quite futuristic.

What We Think
We know that Tata has no plans of resurrecting the Nano. The Tiago will continue to be the most affordable product in the portfolio of the Indian auto giant. Nevertheless, creative iterations like this keep us excited about new avatars of the vehicles from the yesteryears. Hence, we appreciate the efforts that these digital artists put into their renditions to offer the audience something refreshing and unique. In fact, many people even get some ideas to modify their existing cars according to such illustrations.
