Ford quit manufacturing cars in India in September 2021, and the fans have been distraught ever since.
Ford has launched the latest-gen Endeavour (Everest) in Nepal. Endeavour was one of the most successful 7-seat SUVs in our market. Its impeccable build quality, imposing road presence, and impressive off-roading capabilities made it a popular choice in the segment. However, in 2021, Ford declared over US$2 billion in losses in India, following which it quit our market. But the fans are missing the American carmaker, especially since the latest-gen model has been launched in many parts of the world including Nepal.

Also, the import taxes would put it beyond the reach of most buyers.
