Maruti has updated the XL6 MPV for our market and introduced quite a few new functions and features which are listed here.

The slightly premium version of the Ertiga has been made a bit more attractive with a whole host of minor changes to the outside, inside and under the hood to keep it fresh and desirable taking advantage of the fact that there are not too many competitors in the segment. New Changes To Maruti XL6 – Exterior
At the front, the premium quotient of the XL6 has increased due to various chrome elements inserted into the front grille, the headlamps are now full-LED units, there is a chrome insert on the fender and the bumper and skid plate lend an SUV-ish stance to the XL6. On the sides, while the body cladding and wheel arches are black, the 16-inch diamond-cut dual-tone alloy wheels are updated, the C-pillar has been blacked-out accentuating the floating roof effect. At the rear, the clear lens effect in the vertical LED taillamp is new along with a standard roof-mounted spoiler, there is a glass panel and chrome strip connecting the taillamps completing the Moderna and updated appearance.

New Features and Interior
The 2022 Maruti XL6 also comes equipped with plenty of new features. This includes things like telescopic function for the steering wheel, an updated SmartPro infotainment system with 40 connected car functions, a “Hi Suzuki” function for voice commands, a 360-degree camera for that ease of parking in tight spots, ambient lights around the footwell area, ventilated front seats to beat that summer heat, standard 4 airbags, hill-hold assist and ESP, etc. All these features enhance the cabin feel and convenience.

Updated Powertrain
The 1.5 K-Series engine has received some updates to make it more efficient with the addition of an updated Progressive Smart Hybrid Technology. However, the power and torque outputs have gone down marginally at 103 PS and 136.8 Nm compared to 105 PS and 138 Nm in the outgoing model. But the hybrid powertrain ensures an impressive mileage of a little over 20 km/l for manual as well as automatic version. Speaking of transmission options, the XL6 comes with either a 5-speed manual or a new 6-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. The prices of the 2022 Maruti XL6 range between Rs 11.29 lakh and Rs 14.55 lakh, ex-showroom.
