The Euler Storm EV T1250 is among the newer options in the electric LCV market. It has been designed to meet the demands of urban logistics with efficiency and sustainability. Priced starting at ₹8.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), it offers a compelling solution for businesses seeking eco-friendly, low-cost transportation options. Designed for heavy-duty tasks, the truck boasts a best-in-class payload capacity of 1,250 kg and offers load body options of 220 and 260 cubic feet, accommodating diverse cargo requirements. Our recent rendezvous with the T1250 helped us have a better idea about what this electric LCV brings to the table.
Euler T1250 Electric Mini Truck
Our overall impressions of this LCV are majorly positive. The Euler T1250 comes equipped with some clever amenities to make the lives of the owners/users easier. For instance, the LED DRLs at the front double up as the battery health status indicator during charging. The users can know from afar how much the battery has been charged. Apart from that, it has become the first 4-wheeler electric commercial vehicle with ADAS in the country. That points to the fact that the company has focused heavily on the safety of the driver and passengers. With a capacity of 1,250 kg and a range of 140 km (real-world), it surely poses an impressive proposition.
When we got inside the cabin, we were greeted by a reverse parking camera and a 10-inch touchscreen display for infotainment. That lends it a premium vibe. It has a decent ground clearance of 175 mm and the fast charger juices up the battery for 100 km of range in just 30 minutes. The peak power and torque outputs stand at a decent 30 kW (41 PS) and 140 Nm, respectively. It gets a liquid-cooled battery pack, electronic power steering and 2 chargers – 3.3 kWh and 6.6 kWh. For enhanced convenience, it gets AC and sleeping seats with headrest, dashcam, digital lock, night vision assist, offline maps and front collision alert. All in all, the Euler T1250 has to be among the most well-kitted products in this space.
My View
The new electric mini truck is easily the most feature-laden product in its segment, while it’s priced lower to arch rival Tata Ace EV. As the competition in the passenger electric vehicle segment is rising rapidly, it is also increasing in commercial vehicle categories. Clearly, the time for electric mobility has arrived. As a consequence, we are witnessing every pocket of the industry incorporating it into the mix. It remains to be seen how well customers respond to the increased competition. One thing is for sure, they will have a lot of options going forward.
