In the last few years, the sales in the entry-level two-wheeler segment for Bajaj have gone down. Still, it is able to compensate for that in the higher segments where it offers myriad bikes. Let us check out this intriguing brake test of the ABS and non-ABS models of the new Bajaj Platina 110.

Bajaj Platina 110 Brake Test
The video comes from rider VEER JI on YouTube. This channel features content around motorcycles. On this occasion, the YouTuber is at a testing facility of Bajaj. He has the new Platina 110 with him. The brake test event aims to showcase the difference in braking performance in real-world conditions. Hence, for the first level, the rider simply accelerates and brakes on a regular road. In the non-ABS version, there is a slight wheel lock-up towards the end. It is not the case with the ABS model which prevents the wheel from locking up.

For the second level, the YouTuber has to ride over a surface with lots of gravel. That replicates scenarios of when tiny pebbles are there on our regular roads. When he has the non-ABS model, the bike skids on the surface for a long time. The wheels are locked in the position. The elements on the side of the motorcycle prevent it from falling over. In the ABS trim, there is absolute control of the rider until the bike comes to a standstill. Finally, the third round consists of a wet surface, simulating rainy conditions. The result is quite shocking. The non-ABS model continues to slip until the surface is over. However, the ABS version lends immaculate control throughout the surface.
