The Bajaj Discover 150F has been spotted at a dealership. To be positioned at the premium end of the 150-cc commuter motorcycle segment, the 150F gets a fairing to set it apart from the competition. Apart from the fairing, the Discover 150F gets the standard styling elements found on any other bike in it’s family. It gets a lot of features from the Discover 125ST, like the black alloy wheels, front disc brake, mono-shock rear-suspension etc.
The Discover 150F will be a commuter bike, even though it may be marketed as a sporty bike, which means that the seating position is upright, the gear-shifter is of the normal heel-and-toe type and the new 150cc DTS-i, 4-valve engine will be a powerful but sedate unit. The 150F and the Bajaj Discover 150S are expected to go on sale soon.

New Bajaj Discover 150-cc faired bike or Bajaj Discover F150 has been spied testing by our fellow journalists at OverDrive. The motorcycle looks fairly attractive and muscular with partial faring around the front of the motorcycle. The spies motorcycle was fully camouflaged and has “On Test” stickers on the front visor of the motorcycle. From styling and aesthetics, it can be immediately identified as Bajaj Discover series motorcycle. The front headlamps and visors are inspired from the on-going Pulsar family. Bajaj has kept the styling premium with the front being finished with a sleek and sharp looking multi-reflector headlamp cluster. The turn indicators come our from the side faring of the new Bajaj Discover 150.
The front mud-guard, alloy wheels, disk brakes and telescopic shock absorbers are also very similar to the other Discover series on the new Bajaj Discover 150 or F150. The rear view mirrors are also from the pulsar/ discover family and the tips of the handle bars get the metallic extensions to reduce vibrations.
Moving to the side profile, there is a pronounced faring starting from the front visor and going all the way to the middle of the fuel tank. Also one more thing worth noticing is that the new Bajaj Pulsar 150 front headlamp cluster does not turn with the handle bar as shown in the front picture, this is somewhat like the Pulsar F220 and Hero Karizma. This makes the bike looks different from the other 150 cc bikes in the segment.
There is a large seat for comfortable riding and there is a mono-shock suspension at the rear which is fairly visible in the picture with the red coloured spring coil and gas charged shock absorber. Also the engine is easily identifiable as DTS-i series Bajaj engine, which is most likely to be a 4 valve 150CC single cylinder unit with a peak power of between 13 to 15 PS mated to a 5 speed gearbox. The engine, the front leg-guard and exhaust muffler along with the heat guard are finished in black colour which adds to the sporty appeal of the new Bajaj Disover 150.
The rear section is also designed nicely as it narrows down towards the rear with sleek tail, Pulsar style tail lamps, grab handle for the pillion rider and sharp looking turn indicators at the rear. We will keep track on the new developments on the new Bajaj Discover 150 or F150, so stay tuned to Car Blog India by signing up for our email newsletter.
