This post captures the 2024 Maruti Swift mileage test in real-life conditions. The fourth generation of the iconic Swift was launched in India a few days ago. This new Swift comes with visual enhancements, high standard safety equipment, new features and a brand-new engine. The largest carmaker in the country wants to keep the enthusiasm around the Swift moniker alive. The Swift has been around in India since 2005. Even after 19 years of existence, its demand is still at an all-time high. For now, let us check out the mileage test of this brand-new Swift.
New 2024 Maruti Swift Mileage Test
This test comes from CLASSIC GEARS on YouTube. The host has the new Swift which has just been driven for 45 km. Hence, it is still a new engine which will open up after the first service. For this test, he uses the tank-to-tank method. He goes to a petrol pump, fills the tank up to the brim and sets the trip meter to 0. He, then, commences the journey where he drives on the highway, off-road and city at various speeds. In total, he was able to clock 75.1 km when he got back to the same petrol pump to fill the fuel to the same level. After performing some rudimentary calculations, he reveals that the new Swift was able to deliver a mileage of 22.02 kmpl. Therefore, this 2024 Maruti Swift mileage test shows a glimpse of what owners can expect. That is impressive especially since the first service has not happened yet.
Specs
The reason for this incredible real-life mileage figure is the new Z Series engine. Our View
Maruti Suzuki is known for offering cars with extraordinarily high mileage figures in comparison to its rivals. This is true for vehicles in every segment. In fact, that has been the USP of the Indo-Japanese car marque since its inception. The new Swift carries on the legacy of its predecessors. The fact that the new Maruti Swift comes with 6 airbags as standard is a huge boost for its safety credentials. We shall have to wait to see how well the customers embrace the new Swift.
