The facelift version of the 2024 Kia Sonet has been partially revealed online. It is visible in white colour. We’ve encountered the test mule on several occasions, and it’s set to go head-to-head with industry frontrunners like the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, and Maruti Brezza. To stand out from the competition, the Korean powerhouse plans to introduce a distinctive design and integrate state-of-the-art technology, convenience features, and connectivity options. Moreover, the Sonet will have Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to enhance its active safety features. The unveiling of the compact SUV will take place on December 14, 2023. Here are the details.

2024 Kia Sonet Revealed Online
There are many leaked official teasers of the compact SUV. On the outside, it will feature some new elements to set it apart from the existing model. Towards the rear, the vehicle will feature connected LED taillamps, a robust bumper, a roof-mounted spoiler, and a sturdy skid plate with a plastic element. Shifting the focus to the front, you’ll find 7-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs) surrounding the sleek LED headlamp cluster (similar to the XUV300), horizontal LED fog lamps, a redesigned grille, and a sporty bumper. In summary, there will be evident differences between the current and new models.
Exterior Colour
According to the leaked brochure, the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift is set to introduce a new colour option called Pewter Olive. It, coincidentally, is the same fresh colour available in the latest Seltos model. In addition, the colour palette includes Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Intense Red, Imperial Blue, and Clear White. The updated Sonet will also feature two dual-tone combinations: Intense Red/Aurora Black Pearl and Glacier White Pearl/Aurora Black Pearl. Notably, the Matte Graphite paint shade will be exclusively offered with the X-Line trim.

Interior and Features
The visuals provide a brief preview of the cabin layout, revealing a dual-connected display—one for infotainment and another for the driver’s instrument cluster. Just below the infotainment screen, there are AC vents that contribute to a premium ambience. Notably, physical buttons for HVAC and multimedia control are positioned between the AC vents, which is a commendable feature. The sporty stitching on the steering wheel adds a stylish touch that I particularly appreciate. The highlight of this video, however, is the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Given that Hyundai recently introduced ADAS in the Venue, it’s likely that the Sonet, being its sibling, will also feature this technology. The boot space will be a healthy 385 litres. All these elements combined suggest that the Sonet will boast top-notch features.
