The fourth-generation (NX4) Hyundai Tucson comes with a starting price of Rs 27.70 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with features like premium interior, ADAS, hidden DRLs, and more. Specs
Hyundai has launched the LWB variant (long-wheel-base) in the Indian market which offers extra space than the regular models. It comes in both Petrol and Diesel options. The 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated petrol engine offers 156 bhp of maximum power and 192 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. On the other hand, the 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine outputs a maximum power of 186 bhp and a peak torque of 418 Nm. It comes with 8-speed automatic transmission. You can also choose an AWD option along with a 4WD lock mode and multi-terrain modes.
Design
In terms of design, the new-gen SUV sport a stylish front with a parametric design. It is paired with hidden DRLs and projector headlamps. The company has added 18-inch alloy wheels that offer a masculine look. The side profile also features stylish and modern body lines. The rear-view mirrors feature a 360 camera. The blacked-out pillars offer a floating roof design with a Silver highlight and body-hugging roof rails. On the back, you can see a wrap-around tail-lamp cluster. There is also a hidden rear wiper. Overall, the 2022 Hyundai Tucson carries a sporty and modern look.

On the inside, the new fourth-generation (NX4) Hyundai Tucson gets a premium interior. It features auto-adjustable front ventilated seats with memory settings. The cabin gets many soft-touch surfaces, a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital cluster, dual-zone climate control, USB ports, a wireless charger, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and a wide panoramic sunroof. The leather-wrapped steering wheel features multimedia controls and cruise controls. Additionally, the company has added a diffuse mode for AC. Such small touches make it a very special ride.
The luxurious rear seats offer large legroom and headroom. Reading lamps are placed on the side. The passengers in the back can also access centrally-munted air conditioning controls, two charging ports, a foldable armrest, ISOFIX mounts, and more. Additionally, you can adjust the front seats for extra legroom (with small buttons on the side of the front seat). The massive 590litre boot space is electrically operated. It comes with a retractable tray for extra privacy. The company has also added boot lamps and a 12V charging socket. You can also fold the middle row seats (with a small button) to get 1860litre boot space.

Performance
In terms of driving experience, the 2022 Hyundai Tucson (2.0-liter turbocharged diesel 8AT) offers a smooth driving experience. It offers an impressive performance with smooth gear-shift and good responsiveness. However, you don’t feel like flooring the new SUV. The braking performance is also on-point. Overall, the ride quality of the 2022 Hyundai Tucson is quite comfortable. You can barely feel body roll which is impressive. The steering feedback and suspension tuning are quite commendable. Overall, the 2022 Hyundai Tucson offers smooth performance with good handling. It offers a fuel mileage of 15kmpl.
Additional highlights of the new SUV include level two ADAS features, airbags, lane assist, safe exit warning, and more.
