The recently unveiled Tata Nexon EV will make way for the new Nexon facelift, as it will get the same styling and features from the EV.
Tata Motors has just unveiled the Nexon EV in India, which will be launched soon. It gets a driving range of more than 300 kms and a 30.2 kWh battery pack, which produces 129 PS and 245 Nm of torque.
Tata Motors has confirmed that the upcoming new Tata Nexon facelift will get the design cues from Nexon EV. The EV has actually received a significant makeover and as Tata Motors said, it was designing something which was already the best of them.
The New Tata Nexon will get more angular front and rear bumpers with the redesigned front grille. It also gets new LED headlamps surrounded by LED DRLs. The fog lamp covering has also been refreshed.

The curvy and funky look of Nexon remains the same though. New alloy wheels have been added which are nearly 1 kg heavy on each corner. The design of the tail portion remains largely the same, but the tail lamps have been revised. Lastly, you get the new ‘Nexon’ chrome badging just near the boot opener.
New features on board will include auto LED headlamps with LED DRLs, Slightly revised 7-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a new semi-digital instrument console, electric sunroof, Push Start Button, Wearable Key and Rain Sensing Wipers.
Safety features onboard will be the same with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, Rear Parking Sensors with a Rear View camera, Speed Alert System and Front and rear Seat Belt Reminder.

The existing 1.2 Litre turbo-petrol and 1.5 Litre turbo-diesel engines will continue with the BS-6 treatment. The turbo-petrol mill produces 110 BHP and 170 Nm of peak torque. The oil-burner produces 110 BHP and 270 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines come with an option of a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed AMT.
