We all know that Maruti is going to launch the new Vitara Brezza in 2020, mostly at the Auto Expo. The upcoming SUV has been spied under heavy camouflage, but still revealing some of the changes.
FYI, the Vitara Brezza has not received any big updates till now. It was launched in 2016 as Maruti’s attempt in the sub-compact SUV segment. Till a couple of months back, it held the position of the best-selling SUV in India.
What we see here is a speculative rendering of the new 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza, based on the recent spy shots. The new version would get some cosmetic upgrades, new features and a new engine as well.

Inside the cabin, you can just expect a new colour to the dashboard and refreshed seats as well. The biggest change will come under the hood, as it is all set to get a new petrol engine.
The new 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza will use the new 1.5 Litre petrol engine with SHVS mild-hybrid system. The engine produces 104 BHP and 138 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed MT and an AMT gearbox. The same engine comes under the Ciaz and Ertiga.

As of now, there is no confirmation on the diesel engine, but we expect the new 1.5 Litre diesel engine to come later. The engine first came on the facelifted Ciaz and then on the new-gen Ertiga. While Maruti had earlier declined to launch any diesel cars, but it is now contemplating seeing the demand for diesel cars.
For the month of September, Vitara Brezza regained its position as the best-selling SUV of India, overtaking Hyundai Venue by nearly 2,000 units. Around 10,000 units of Brezza were sold previous month.
