As you can probably make out from the images we have on this page, the exterior design of the Rush 2018 model seems to take plenty of inspiration from the Daihatsu Multisix and FT concepts. Up front, there is the typical Toyota look with a Fortner-like grille making its way to a rather chunky bumper. There is a pair of sleek-looking LED headlamps with LED DRLs, which further add to the modern look of the new Rush. The image reveals a Toyota Fortuner-like grille, which drops down into the bumper. The front bumper design is in agreement with the leaked documentation that surfaced last month. Flanking the grille are a set of LED headlamps with LED DRLs.
Seen in the profile, there’s definitely a touch of MPV in the design of this model. Unlike the last generation, the new car doesn’t get a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. Hence, the rear hatch is now hinged to the roof. There’s a lot of black plastic cladding to enhance the rugged look. Plus, the TRD Sportivo variant looks sportier due to the dual-tone alloy wheels. The new 2018 Toyota Rush will be brimming with features, with the top-end models getting as many as 6 airbags and a modern infotainment unit. The high-end trims will cost more than IDR 300 million (INR 1,446,515).
