Mahindra was the first mover in the Micro-SUV segment with the KUV100. However, the introduction of the Maruti Ignis left a huge dent on the already mediocre sales performance of the KUV. Now, speculations are rife that the dwindling sales have forced the manufacturer to start working on a facelift for its Micro-SUV. The manufacturer is yet to reveal the new 2017 Mahindra KUV100 launch date. However, this car should be out in showrooms by this year’s festive season. M&M could be looking to cash in on increased sales during this period.

The new KUV100 has to contend with the Maruti Suzuki Ignis. Hence, its pricing will be crucial to its success. Also, the top-end model should cost no more than Rs 7.5 lakh.
