KTM has launched the new 2017 Duke range in India. However, unlike the 390 Duke, which is an all new model, the 290 Duke gets only mild updates. It gets new body graphics and, more importantly, BS 4 compliance. The new 2017 KTM Duke 200 is priced at Rs. 1.44 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Price of the KTM Duke 200 remains the same. It still costs Rs. 1.44 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). KTM has not made any changes to the Duke 200 to ensure an affordable entry price point to the KTM Duke range.

The new Duke 200 gets the same engine as before in an identical state of tune. It makes 25 PS @ 10,000 RPM and 19.2 Nm @ 8,000 RPM. It is worth noting that the bike is now BS 4 compliant. 200 Duke does not get ABS, even as an option.

2017 KTM Duke 200 Design
While the Duke 200 was expected to adopt the same design language as the 2017 Duke 390, that has not been the case. The design of the 2017 model remains the same. However, there are new paint shcemes on offer. It retains the sharp creases and aggressive lines. It is available in three colour shcemes – White, Orange and Black. Unlike the Duke 390, the smaller Duke does not get the new LCD instrument panel. It continues with the digital instrument console seen on the old bike.
