Suzuki Motorcycles has just launched the new Access 125 in India this month. Showcased at the Auto Expo the new model becomes a successor to the earlier model, which has turned out to very successful for the Japenese two-wheeler manufacturers in India. The 2016 model has a starting price of INR 53,887. The Access 125 was showcased at the Auto Expo along with the Gixxer SF FI and Gixxer with rear disc brakes. New 2016 Suzuki Access 125 Price

Suzuki launched the Access 125 at an official event in New Delhi earlier today. The launch takes place more than a month after its unveiling at the Auto Expo in February. The new model has gone on sale at a price of INR 53,887. The earlier model Suzuki Access is priced at INR 56,984 (on-road, New Delhi).

New 2016 Suzuki Access 125 Specifications

The Suzuki Access 125 is based on an all-new platform but features the same 125 cc engine albeit with a few minor revisions. It now comes with SEP and puts out a max. power of 8.7 PS and peak torque of 10.2 Nm. Since the new Access is lighter than the outgoing model, you get better fuel mileage of 64 kp. Suzuki is offering optional disc brakes and alloy wheels with the Access 125.

Design

The front of the scooter, especially the headlamp region, looks quite retro. The squarish headlamp unit gets a thick chrome surround with a Suzuki emblem placed right below it. Suzuki has given the Access 125 a new posterior and added alloy wheels as well. The instrument cluster is all new and now features a digital readout and service due indicator.
