Updated Honda CBR 250R now available
Regulars here would know that Honda had showcased updated versions of the CBR 250R and CBR 150R at the RevFest earlier this year. The event witnessed the launch of the Honda CBR650F, along with the debut of a handful of new bikes. Now, Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India has informed us that the updated model has been launched in cities of New Delhi and Mumbai. The 2015 CBR250R carries some minor cosmetic updates over the outgoing model and here, in this post, we’ve put together all the available details on the new Honda CBR250R India spec model.

Styling
Unlike the international-spec model, the 2015 Honda CBR250R for India looks very much like the version that has already been on sale here. However, as we expected, the bike gets a new black paint job with golden decals. While HMSI hopes that this minor cosmetic update is enough to spruce up the things, biking aficionados, however, would have loved HMSI to bring in the very tasty looking international-spec model that was launched abroad last year to our shores.

New Colours
Honda has added three new colour options to the CBR 250R – Sports Red, Pearl Amazing White & Black.
Specifications
Quite unsurprisingly, there isn’t much to report here. Much like the current model, the new Honda CBR250R India spec model is powered by a single-pot 249cc fuel-injected motor that puts out a maximum power of 26 bhp and a peak torque of 22.9 Nm. It maybe noted that the CBR250R has been subjected to a lot of heat from the likes of KTM Duke 200 and the RC200, and hence, we reckon that it is important for Honda to bump up the power output of this model.
