Mercedes-Benz C-Class
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class comes in multiple powertrain options. In the petrol version, there is the C 200 model which has a potent 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine developing 204 hp and 300 Nm of peak power and torque. This propels the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.3 secs and the top speed is a cool 246 km/h. Then there are two variants on offer with the diesel fuel – C 220d and C 300d. The former develops 200 hp and 440 Nm, while the latter is good for 265 hp and 550 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. All these mills come with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

In the most powerful iteration, the luxury saloon is able to achieve 100 km/h acceleration from a standstill in just 5.7 secs. The top speed is rated at a cool 250 km/h. The sedan is 4.75 m long and has a wheelbase of 2.86 m. Needless to say, the interior boasts the latest OS from Merc with all the gadgets and gizmos. The prices start at Rs 60 lakh, ex-showroom. With all the accessories, these could shoot up quite aggressively.
