The richest man in Asia takes his love for the Rolls Royce into the electric era
In the latest Mukesh Ambani news, he has added an ostentatious Rolls Royce Spectre to his already impressive car collection. Mukesh Ambani is the richest man in Asia. He has held that position for years now. The Chairman of Reliance Industries Limited has an unmatched love for Rolls Royce cars. He already possesses dozens of cars from the British ultra-luxury carmaker. That already makes him one of the few billionaires on the planet with so many Rolls Royce models. If that wasn’t enough, he is now a proud owner of the first electric car model from Rolls Royce.
Mukesh Ambani Buys Rolls Royce Spectre
We were able to get our hands on the images of the new opulent EV from the Automobili Ardent : The Petrolhead Lifestyle page on Facebook. The visuals showcase the unique electric Rolls Royce Spectre on the streets of Mumbai. It is waiting at the traffic lights when someone clicks a photo. Only the rear section of the vehicle is visible. Also, the green number plate confirms its electric credentials. Furthermore, the VIP numberplate reads MH 0001. Interestingly, the rear profile reminds me of the ICE model which also carries these compact LED taillamps.
The Rolls Royce Spectre carries forward the legacy of this moniker into the electric future. The large battery pack powers electric motors to generate a healthy 577 hp and 900 Nm of peak power and torque. Due to the instant torque delivery, the EV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. The company claims a range of 520 km on a single charge. One can use a 200 kW DC fast charger to juice up the battery. On the inside, it is filled with a mega-premium interior with top-notch quality and the latest tech and convenience amenities.
