As we all know, MS Dhoni has announced retirement from international cricket and here’s what he gifted himself to enjoy his relaxation.
Much to the sorrow of cricket fans, MS Dhoni announced retirement from international cricket. While he will still continue to play for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL, he will not go for ODIs and test matches. The social media took a hit and on Twitter his retirement news was the most trending topic.
To make up for the retirement, he and his wife bought home one of the rarest cars around the world. MS Dhoni gifted himself a 1971 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM! His wife, Sakshi Dhoni, shared a photo of it on Instagram showing the muscle car seated comfortably in the garage with other vintage cars in the background.
So, it is a red Pontiac with white strips coming from the boot till the bonnet. Do not miss out on the bonnet scoop, which is not a cosmetic modification. This one seems like a LHD car and probably, might have been imported from the United States. We cannot take our eyes off the car and are just so jealous of MS Dhoni!
Pontiac Firebird Trans AM gets a V8 Big Block Engine that produces around 325 BHP. That’s a lot of power to even think about, especially since the car is about 50 years old. In another video, you can see the wifey driving it inside the lawns of his house in Ranchi. While Dhoni is now in Chennai with the IPL team, he will get to enjoy once the league is over.
You can also spot some more exotic cars in his garage. There’s the old Mitsubishi Pajero parked on the driveway and inside the garage, you can see a Hummer H2, Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Series 1 and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Other cars which in his stable include a GMC Truck, an old Toyota Corolla, a Nissan Jonga and much more.
