In a weird turn of events, an MP man drifts his Mercedes on a busy road and the entire episode has been captured on CCTV. There are, unfortunately, tons of cases on our roads where people are brazenly flouting traffic regulations. Luckily, most times, they are dealt with accordingly by the authorities just like in this case. Let us check out the details of this insanely stupid and dangerous stunt.

MP Man Drifts His Mercedes
The video has been uploaded by Prateek Singh on YouTube. This channel keeps featuring content around the performances of popular cars during unfortunate incidents and road safety. This time around, an incident has surfaced from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. As per the information in the video, there is a 23-year-old behind the wheel of this Mercedes E-Class. He is seen approaching the junction and slowing down.

Suddenly, he starts drifting his two-seater Mercedes in the middle of the road as the traffic stops in shock. It is clear that people were not expecting such a rash stunt amidst the traffic. The driver makes a few rounds with his car and creates tyre marks on the road and then leaves the scene. Since this was captured on tape, the video went viral in no time. In fact, it reached the Police authorities also.

The Police sprung into action and arrested this man. He was charged under section 279 (rash driving on a public way) of the IPC and relevant provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act. As a result, the luxury sedan was seized and the driving license of the man was suspended for 3 months by the transport department. We feel that there is a dire need of such actions to dissuade people from attempting such ridiculous acts jeopardizing the health and safety of everyone on the road.
