Mahindra Thar Owner Takes SUV From India to Qatar for FIFA World Cup
The details of this unique feat have been shared by SFV – Shaikh Family Vlog on YouTube. As per the information in the video, Naaji hails from Kerala and is a fan of Argentina and Lionel Messi. However, she decided to take the most unorthodox route to reach Qatar where the 2022 FIFA World Cup is being held. Being a driving enthusiast, she took her Thar and modified it to travel in it for the 3,000 km journey. Starting from Kerala, she reached Mumbai port from where she took a ship to land in Muscat, Oman.

Once she reached the Middle East, she took the desert ride crossing countries including the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. On her way, she met her social media followers encouraging and her and expressing their gratitude toward her for inspiring them. Naaji also took a picture in front of the mighty Burj Khalifa checking a goal off her bucket list. However, she mentions that she had issues getting sponsorship for her journey on account of being a woman.

While big corporates or other private entities sponsor male bloggers, they were not all that eager to support her. But this didn’t discourage her at all as she went on to complete the journey anyway. Another thing to mention is the support she got from the Mahindra dealership. They prepared the car for this journey. Other modifications include removing the back seat and installing a fully-functional kitchen so that she is able to cook her own food making the entire trip a bit more affordable.
