This video comes from Thisisgabru on YouTube. The owner showcases the entire process of transforming his off-roading SUV. The entire vehicle has been ripped off. The seats, door panels, soft-top, dashboard, headlamps, taillamps, tow hooks, full body damping, new music system, ORVMs, bumpers, tyres, etc. are all replaced. Most components for this mad modification have been imported. To start with, the owner got the rugged roof-top from Armoro. There are other Armoro elements too. Apart from that, the aesthetics and electrical parts come from Hypersonic. Both these are among the best companies in the world for automobile accessories.

At the front, there are new LED rounded headlamps with integrated LED DRLs and the bumper has been chopped off. The owner has also installed a functional snorkel and 360-degree camera to ensure adequate visibility during hardcore off-roading excursions. However, the main elements which make it a monster Thar include mammoth 40-inch tyres with off-roading treads and solid axle rods. This allows unparalleled wheel articulation irrespective of the terrain. In fact, toward the end, the owner drives it over massive boulders and uneven surfaces. We must admit that this has to be among the most heavily modified Mahindra Thars we have come across in a long time. Essentially, every component of the SUV is fresh. There is barely any stock part in this off-roader. However, we have to caution our readers against going for such modifications. Most car modifications are illegal in our country. If you get in contact with traffic cops, you are bound to receive a challan. In fact, they can even ask you to remove the mods. Therefore, it is a great idea to consult your local RTO regarding which alterations are legal. But if you want something like this just as a passion project that you could drive in remote areas, it is fine.
