Social media influencers come in all shapes and forms and this mother-son duo on a superbike is the latest example of it.
In this latest social media post, a mom and her kid are spotted riding on a superbike without any safety gear. Unfortunately, such instances are rather well-prevalent in this day and age. In fact, most people do this to promote their social media handles to garner views. In a bid to do that, however, they go to extreme lengths jeopardizing their own safety and the safety of everyone around. This latest case is a prime example where a mother rides a Honda CBR 650R superbike with her son as the pillion.

Mom and Kid Riding Superbike
The post has been shared by anju_vishnu_om on Instagram. It captures a woman sitting on the red superbike. She is calling for her son. He is a mere kid and quickly hops on the pillion seat, grabbing her mom for support. She then, starts the bike and goes on to make some rounds on the motorcycle. Now while this may seem quite innocuous at first but we must understand that there are concrete perils involved with this stunt. Firstly, the woman is wearing a dress that could easily get wrapped up around her feet, affecting the gearshifting.

More importantly, neither of them is wearing a helmet. That is the worst mistake anyone could make while riding a motorbike. Needless to say, we can’t be sure when tragedy could strike. To have a kid on a bike without adequate safety equipment is borderline criminal. Even if this woman is riding super-slowly and with the utmost care, the content that she is putting out could easily inspire others to follow the same path too. In those cases, we can’t be sure if everyone will follow the traffic and safety regulations at all.

Road Safety
We would like to advise our readers to stay clear of such dangerous stunts and not promote such reels and short videos on the internet. You never know how people would try to imitate these activities and end up devising a tragedy in hindsight. We lose thousands of lives in road accidents each year. Unsurprisingly, two-wheeler riders are the most common victims of such tragic cases. Hence, it is high time we start respecting and following traffic regulations that are designed to enhance road safety.
