The Royal Enfield Himalayan has been rather quick with garnering a very positive response among the Indian biking lot. The Himalayan benefits from an attractive price tag and sufficient off-road cred. The Himalayan is currently the only Royal Enfield to sport the new 411cc engine. This new engine pumps out a decent 24.5 BHP-32 Nm. Yet it seems like there are some owners who crave for stronger acceleration and higher top speed. One such rider could be the owner of this modified Royal Enfield Himalayan you see here. This modified Royal Enfield Himalayan runs on a KTM 390 Duke-sourced motor. Yes, you read it right! This modified Royal Enfield Himalayan has an Austrian heart. Read on for more on this interesting bike.

Modified Royal Enfield Himalayan Specifications
The Duke 390 offers 43 BHP and 35 Nm. In comparison, the Himalayan makes do with 24.5 BHP and 32 Nm. While there’s quite a difference in the numbers, the RE delivers both its peak torque and power at a much lower RPM. True, as is obvious, the engines are too different in nature. Hence, the application of KTM’s 373cc engine in Himalayan surprises us. However, we are pretty sure that this modified Royal Enfield Himalayan benefits from better straight-line acceleration and higher top speed.
