Car enthusiasts and automobile designers are always coming up with new iterations of popular cars. Now, a new digital render of Mahindra Thar has been shared on YouTube by SRK Designs. It is yet another example of great visualization. The Mahindra Thar render makes it look like the old Willys Jeep. Let’s take a close look!

As you can see in the video above, the new digital render adds a classic look to the 2020 Mahindra Thar. On the front, you can see a hardcore metal unit with a heavy-duty winch and tow shackles. It also features massive M/T-spec tires wit5h a set of steel rims. The doors of the Thar have also been binned. The side steps have been replaced with rock sliders. While the independent front suspension is absent, you can see a solid axle. The finishing touch is the new Olive Green paint job and the star livery on the rear fender. The seats are now upholstered in an Olive Green material.

Currently, the Mahindra Thar has a long waiting period (up to 8-9 months) in the country. It comes with a starting price of Rs 12.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The latest edition comes with multiple engine-gearbox combinations and a feature-loaded interior. It is powered by a 2.0L turbo-petrol and 2.2L diesel engine options. For transmission, the Mahindra Thar comes with 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT options. Additional highlights of the Mahindra Thar include a 4×4 drivetrain, a mechanically-locking rear differential, a low-range transfer case, automatic climate control, cruise control, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and a touchscreen infotainment unit.
