This digital concept of the Kia Seltos might be what the fans want from the 2023 model. Seltos has been an incredibly popular mid-size SUV in our market. It, along with the compact SUV, Sonet, has managed to propel Kia to be the most successful carmaker in our country ever. Now, we also have the Kia Carnival and Carens MPVs to cater to a wider audience. Nevertheless, it was the Seltos that started it all. In the international market, the facelifted version has already been launched. Hence, we can expect it to arrive in India soon too.

Digital Concept of 2023 Kia Seltos
This video and the enticing iteration has been created by Zephyr Designz. It is a prominent digital artist that keeps coming up with interesting iterations of popular cars. This time around, they have decided to work on the Seltos. While the final product looks quite different to the regular model, the modifications are rather subtle. At the front, the front grille is finished in a glossy black material, the headlights have a smoked effect, the vertically-oriented LED DRLs around the fog lamp housing look cool and the front bumper is sporty as well.

The side profile is accentuated by ultra-low profile wide tyres with black spoked alloy wheels with sporty red inserts. The wheel arches are quite pronounced and the side pillars have been painted black. The glossy black side pillars and windows give an impression of a floating roof. At the rear, the bumper is finished with a glossy black panel as well. There are dual exhausts making it look like a performance car. The typical connected LED taillamps enhance the overall appeal of the SUV.

Since it will be a facelift, there are unlikely to be any changes to the powertrain options. This means that it could come with 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel and a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol motor. The 1.5-litre motors output 115 PS each, while the turbo-petrol engine belts out 140 PS. Also, all the engines come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. However, the base petrol engine is optionally available with a CVT, while the diesel and turbo-petrol motors are on offer with a 6-speed torque-converter and 7-speed DCT option, respectively. The updated Seltos could be priced between Rs 11 lakh to Rs 19 lakh, ex-showroom.
