While India still awaits the arrival of the 2020 Honda City, feast your eyes on this modified 2020 Honda City that looks like a WRC rally car. It has been modified by RS-R Japan, a tuning house in Japan.
While India still awaits the much anticipated 2020 Honda City, here’s a tuning house in Japan that’s already doing crazy stuffs with the new-generation sedan. The nationwide lockdown and coronoavrirus pandemic has delayed the arrival of the 2020 City to India but meanwhile, you can feast your eyes on this tastefully modified Honda City that looks like a rally race car now. It has been modified by a renowned tuning house in Japan called ‘RS-R Japan’ and it has got us drooling.
The visual modification has mostly been carried out with decals all around the car and the white color of the car has been an excellent base for that. The car comes wrapped in sporty red vinyls with black treatment on the wing mirrors, bonnet, grille and on the decals as well. The car does not use any over-the-top body kit and the bumpers are identical to the stock car. However, you can see a subtle front splitter and a side skirts as well.
The decals also have ‘RS-R Sports Service’ branding all around which is the tuning house that has done this modification job. The ground clearance of the car has also been lowered which has probably been achieved with RS-R coilover suspension and you can see the car riding on multi-spoke bronze alloy wheels shod in Toyo Proxes performance rubber. In fact, it is the wheels which add the last bit of the rally look to the car.

The exhaust system of this City has also been swapped for an in-house developed after market unit and we are sure it must sound absolutely dope. It also comes with sport Recaro seats on the inside. From how its specced, this City seems to be powered by a 1.0L turbo-petrol engine that Honda offers internationally. It produces 122bhp and 173Nm of peak torque. The India-spec Honda City will be powered by 1.5L petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine will produce 122bhp while the diesel mill is good for 100bhp.

Perhaps the only missing piece in this Honda City is a neat looking spoiler on the boot lid and you would have had an absolutely great looking machine. Still, RS-R Japan has done a great job on this car and we can’t wait for the 2020 Honda City to arrive in India so we can have some tastefully modified Honda City’s here as well.
