Mitsubishi Motors is one of the least active brand in the market. The reason for this has to be its not so strong line-up. Now if we talk about SUVs, Mitsubishi has just one offering, the Mitsubishi Outlander, which is not a volumes puller at all and manages to clock some sales every month. For a while now the 2012 Outlander was expected to be launched but the company was reluctant on disclosing any further details.
Today Mitsubishi Motors has silently launched the 2012 Outlander 7-seater model in Delhi. What makes the car more interesting than its predecessor is the fact that firstly it is a 7 seater model, unlike its 5 seater predecessor, and secondly it is Rs.30,000 cheaper than the same.

The car is powered by the same old 2.4 litre MPFI petrol engine that powers it 5 seater model. This unit generates 167 BHP of max power and 226 Nm of max torque and is coupled to a 6 speed automatic transmission. The car delivers a claimed mileage of 10.3 KMPL which is fine keeping in mind the petrol motor. Disappointingly there is no diesel engine option.
2012 Mitsubishi Outlander Price In Delhi
The 2012 Outlander has been priced between Rs. 19.95 Lakhs and Rs. 20.55 lakhs. This price is quite competitive by comparison to other entry level SUVs like Honda CR-V, Ford Endeavour, Chevrolet Captiva and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
