The Mini Clubman Indian Summer Red Edition gets several cosmetic changes, additional features and even a new gearbox over the standard Clubman. It also costs Rs 3.7 lakhs more than the latter.
Mini has added a new special edition car to the Clubman range in India. Its called the 2020 Mini Clubman Indian Summer Red Edition and it has been launched in the country for a price of Rs. 44.90 lakhs (ex-showroom). That’s Rs. 3.7 lakhs more expensive over the standard Clubman. This limited edition model is just limited to 15 units for India and will be available for bookings on Amazon.in from February 15, 2020.
So what is special about this special-edition Clubman? Well, this Indian Summer edition of the Clubman gets the new Indian Summer metallic red shade. The new paint is them complimented with gloss black finished around the redesigned circular LED headlights, foglights, mirror caps, rear lights and grille. At the rear, the Clubman continues to sport LED taillights that feature the distinctive Union Jack design as a tribute to the brand’s origins.

On the inside, this special edition Mini continues with the quirky dashboard layout with the LED ring and a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system. However, there are some new features which includes a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, panoramic glass roof, a hands-free tailgate, cruise control and a rear camera. There are some new piano black treatment on the dashboard and with a new black chequered design. You also get LED ambient lighting and projection lamps with the MINI logo on the ORVMs. There are new sports seats which are electrically adjustable with memory function.

The Mini Clubman Indian Summer Red Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre TwinTurbo petrol engine that develops 190 bhp and peak torque of 280 Nm of peak torque. The transmission has been swapped for a 7-speed DCT unit in place of the 8-speed torque converter automatic found in the standard car. The car sprints from 0-100 kmph in 7.2 seconds and has a top speed of 228 kmph. The Clubman also comes with multiple driving modes that sets up the vehicle for ride comfort, sportiness or efficiency.
