Indian roads are full of bizarre activities and this Maruti WagonR pickup truck is a prime example of that. WagonR is one of the most successful vehicles in the Indian automobile history. It has been around since 1999. What is even more impressive is the fact that even today, it commands huge demand. Its affordability, high mileage, low running costs, dense sales and service network of Maruti Suzuki are some of the top reasons for its mad success. In fact, in this case, a milkman is transporting his milk containers by making it a pickup. Let’s dive into the details.

Milkman Modifies Maruti WagonR into Pickup
This post comes from bunnypunia on Instagram. It captures a rather strange incident on the road. As per the information in the caption of this post, this was spotted somewhere on Panchkula – Saharanpur highway. The post reads, “Wagon R : family car, first car, ola, uber and this!” It is fascinating to witness this unique contraption. The erstwhile family car has been transformed into a pickup by removing the roof and the rear seats. That liberates tons of space to make it into a usable cargo compartment to carry things around.

Now, we are not certain if there are any modifications to the engine. In any case, one can easily carry moderately heavy items in the cargo bed for small distances like this milkman. Someone driving in the adjacent lane records the video of the entire saga. This construction is quite impressive, to say the least.
