A leaked photo shows that MG ZS EV will come in two variants, and its price might be Rs 24 Lakhs and Rs 25 Lakhs (Ex-showroom), respectively.
MG is going to launch the ZS EV this month, which will be its second offering and also India’s second electric SUV. We have already driven the EV and you can find our review of the same at the end of this article.
Ahead of the launch, the price of MG ZS EV has been leaked. The official website, probably because of a technical glitch, reflected the ex-showroom price. It will be available in two variants, Excite and Exclusive.
The price of MG ZS EV will reportedly start off at Rs 24 Lakhs for the Excite variant. The Exclusive variant will come at a price of Rs 25 Lakhs. Both the variants will get White and Red colour options with the Exclusive variant getting addition Sky Blue colour.

MG ZS EV runs on a 44.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack which is IP67 rated. The company claims that the EV will offer a range of up to 340 kms on a single charge. The electric motor is capable of producing 143 PS and 353 Nm of peak torque.
The ZS EV comes with three driving modes; Eco, Normal and Sport. The acceleration power is different for all three modes. It also gets three levels of regenerative braking. With the third level of regenerative braking applied, the EV could save up to 10-15% of charge.
Other features on the ZS EV include panoramic sky roof, touchscreen infotainment system with i-Smart, Rain Sensing Front Wipers, 6-Ways Adjustable Front Seats, Cruise Control, Auto LED headlamps and the system display information such as range, nearest charging station, driving characteristics and much more.

As of now, MG plans to sell the EV in five cities only, which include Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, Bangalore and Ahmedabad. The bookings for the same have commenced for a token of Rs 50,000 and the official launch will happen in the last week of January.
