MG ZS electric SUV has received the highest rating of 5 stars in the Euro Crash Tests. The E-SUV has been unveiled in India and will be launched next month.
In the Euro NCAP crash tests, MG ZS EV has managed to score five stars of safety rating. It is the same model that will also be launched in India next month, without some features present in the Euro-Spec model.
MG ZS Electric SUV has managed to score 90% (34.5 points out of 38 points) in adult safety rating. In terms of child safety, it has managed to score 85% (41.7 out of 49) points, which actually is very good.
For the pedestrian and road use, the safety rating comparatively low at 64%. We cannot compare its safety features rating because the Euro-Spec MG ZS electric SUV comes with a couple of additional features.

MG Motors recently unveiled the ZS electric SUV for India, which is slated to be launched in January 2020. The size of the ZS EV is similar to the Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks and Kia Seltos. Basically, it is smaller than Hector.
It gets a 44.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack which produces 141 BHP and 343 Nm of peak torque. The claimed driving range of the SUV is up to 340 kms on full charge. Further, it is available with five different charging options.
Safety features of the India-spec ZS EV include six airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Rear Disc Brakes, Hill Descent Control, Reverse Parking Camera With Guidelines, Electronic Stability Control and Hill Start Assist.
MG ZS EV comes with features such as 20.32cm Touchscreen Infotainment with Android Auto Apple CarPlay, Charging Station Info On Maps and Inbuilt Sim Card With Ability To Connect To Wifi, 6-Ways Adjustable Front Seats, 3 Level Regenerative Braking Energy, Panoramic Sky Roof and much more.

It is most likely to be priced around 25 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). ZS EV will undercut the prices of its rival, Hyundai Kona. We will be driving the MG ZS electric vehicle soon, so stay tuned for our review!
