MG Hector Plus base-spec Style variant has now been discontinued. Prices now start at Rs 15.65 Lakhs (Ex-showroom) onwards.
MG has discontinued the base-spec Style variants of the Hector Plus. The website has been updated with new information and dealerships have also stopped taking the bookings for that variant. The reason for this has not been revealed yet but we assume lower demand for the base variant, leading to its discontinuation.
Now, it will continue with the remaining three variants, the Super variant as the entry-level offering. The Style variants were earlier priced from Rs 13.49 Lakhs up to Rs 14.44 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Now, the prices start at Rs 15.65 Lakhs, with the Super Diesel MT variant. Prices for other variants remain unchanged.

The price range of Hector Plus starts at Rs 15.65 Lakhs going up to Rs 18.68 Lakhs, available in petrol and diesel engines. It is based on the regular Hector completely, but offers an additional seat, making it a six-seater. There are three rows of individual captain seating now that come without changing the dimensions of the regular Hector.
Further changes are just limited to some cosmetic upgrades. Hector Plus gets refreshed front and rear bumpers with slightly revised fog lamp housing. The front grille has also undergone some changes to distinguish itself. Power figures remain unchanged, continuing with the same set of 1.5 Litre petrol and 2.0 Litre diesel engines.
The 1.5 Litre turbocharged petrol engine produces 143 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed MT and a 7-speed DCT. This petrol engine also comes with the option of a mild-hybrid technology, which produces the same power figures but only gets a manual gearbox. Its 2.0 Litre turbo-diesel motor is good for 143 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque, with a 6-speed MT.
