MG has finally revealed the prices of Hector Plus, which starts at Rs xxx. It is a 6-seater version based on the regular Hector with minor differences.
After showcasing it at the Auto Expo and a lot of spy shots, MG has finally launched the Hector Plus. The 6-seater version of the popular SUV is now available in the market at a starting price of Rs 13.49 Lakhs. Along with a couple of cosmetic differences and some feature additions, it gets additional third row for more practicality.
Hector Plus will continue to come with four variants – Style, Super, Smart and Sharp. If compared to Hector, the price hike starts from Rs 50,000 up to Rs 65,000. That looks like a decent amount that we have to pay for an additional seat. Here are the variant wise and fuel wise prices of the car:

Smart DCT | 16.65 Lakhs |
Sharp MT | 17.28 Lakhs |

The bookings of Hector Plus commenced weeks ago itself for a token amount of Rs 50,000. The deliveries are expected to commence by this month. It gets individual captain seats for all the three rows with AC vents for all the rows. There’s a 7-seater version of it also coming sometime later this year.
Cosmetic differences include refreshed front and rear bumpers, new grille, new LED DRLs, tail lamps and headlamps and also an exclusive colour option. Inside the cabin, it gets a different seat upholstery material and interior theme along with some tweaks to the i-Smart internet technology. Now, you get the ChitChat function for better and engaging accessibility.
Engine options include a 1.5 Litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.0 Litre turbo diesel engine. The hybrid option comes only with the Sharp variant. The petrol unit produces 143 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed MT and a 7-speed DCT. The diesel engine also continues to produce 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque, with a 6-speed MT as standard.

Features onboard include the same 10.25-inch vertical touchscreen infotainment with i-Smart internet car technology, 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, digital instrument cluster, electric sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats and more. Safety features include rear disc brakes, ABS with EBD, Traction Control, Hill Hold Control and Six Airbags. MG has also tied up with Mediklinn which ensures that all the bacteria, viruses and germs are killed inside the cabin.
In the price range of MG Hector Plus, you can go for Tata Harrier, Mahindra XUV500 and Toyota Innova Crysta. However, Harrier is a 5-seater and the Gravitas is still some time away. XUV500 is the perfect competitor but does not offer a petrol engine. Innova is another option but is a lot costlier when it comes to fully-loaded variants.
