Reportedly, the prices of MG Hector Plus have been leaked and as expected, the SUV might be priced under Rs 20 Lakhs itself.
MG is going to launch the new and bigger Hector Plus on 13th July. The units have already started reaching dealerships and the pre-bookings have also commenced for a token amount of Rs 50,000. All the details and specifications have also been revealed along with the photos of its seating arrangement.
Now, reports suggest that the MG Hector Plus might be priced from Rs 16 Lakhs up to Rs 19 Lakhs. A youtube channel named Automotive India has leaked the ex-showroom prices of the SUV. Here are the leaked variant wise prices detailed:

As per the Youtube video, Hector Plus will not get the petrol-hybrid option but only petrol and diesel engines. Hector Plus petrol will only be available from the mid-spec trim whereas the diesel variants will start from the second in line Super variant. The base variant Style will continue to only come on the Hector.
The prices of MG Hector Plus diesel will start off at Rs 16 Lakhs going up to Rs 19 Lakhs. The petrol variants will be priced from Rs 17 Lakhs going up to Rs 18.6 Lakhs. There are just the leaked prices and we will get the official prices out on 13th July. As per this report, there will be a different of more than Rs 1 Lakh between the variants of regular Hector and its 6-seater version.
It will continue with the same 1.5 Litre petrol and 2.0 Litre turbo diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 143 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed MT and a 7-speed DCT. The diesel engine is good for 170 PS and 350 Nm of torque and comes with a 6-speed MT as standard fitment.

Once launched, the 6-seater SUV will go against the likes of Mahindra XUV500, Mahindra Scorpio and Toyota Innova Crysta. Hector Plus will be a cheaper alternative to the Innova, which goes up to Rs 25 Lakhs. However, soon, Tata Gravitas and BS6 Tata Hexa will come to compete with the MG SUV.
