The year 2019 is going to mark the arrival of several new vehicles in the Indian market. The interesting thing to note however is that majority of the new vehicle launches scheduled for our country comprise the ‘Sports Utility Vehicle’ segments. And that too primarily focused on the price range of INR 10 lakh to INR 20 lakh, the current hot-pot for the demand of swelled up urban compact utility vehicles. While some of the products are from the existing players in the automotive pool, some are going to mark the arrival of altogether new entities testing the waters of our market. One such is MG Motors which will launch their Hector SUV in our country sometime during the second half of this year.
