MG eZS Electric SUV will offer a driving range of 350 km as claimed by the manufacturer.
MG Motors unveiled Hector in Mumbai last month and the car is set to launch in India markets. After the unveiling of their first car, the British car-makers invited us for a drive in Hector and we drove the Petrol Hybrid Manual and Diesel Manual. Now, the plan doesn’t stop here their second car MG eZS electric SUV is expected to launch in India later this year.
A fresh new camouflaged look for the same have been spotted on Indian roads and the car looks identical to the ZS SUV. We can expect the large grille up front with black mesh design and chrome surrounds, a big MG logo on top of it like we have seen on Hector. It will get projector headlamps with LED taillights and chunkier bumpers with body cladding all over to give it a sporty look.
However, the charging port on the front will be new on board along with five-spoke alloy wheels and a fancier blue paint scheme on the exteriors. The silhouette of the MG eZS follows a rather modern looking design rather than conventional SUV design.

The interiors of the car are expected to see a leather upholstery as standard. Features like a large touchscreen infotainment system with i-SMART technology, a big panoramic sunroof, power adjustable front seats, keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, multi-function steering wheel and much more.
MG eZS Electric SUV will pack a 46.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The motor churns out 150 bhp and a healthy torque of 350 Nm. Manufacturers claim that it can go from 0-50 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and gets a driving range of 350 km in the Indian market. The SUV is already available in the Chinese markets and offers a total of 428 km of driving range. They also claim that with the fast charger it can be charged up to 80 % in just 30 minutes.

MG eZS will be brought in India through CKD (completely knocked down) route and will be locally assembled at the manufacturers Halol Plant in Gujarat. The price for the same is expected to fall within Rs 20 lakh – 25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
