Blackstorm is a special edition moniker that MG uses to create a distinct iteration for its products including the Gloster and Hector
MG Comet Blackstorm has been launched in India as the new flagship model in the lineup. Comet is one of the most affordable electric cars in the country. It is primarily aimed at urban users who travel short distances every day. With its compact dimensions, the EV is an ideal way to commute in and around the city. However, what is quite intriguing is to have a slightly sporty iteration of a budget EV. Interested buyers can book it by paying Rs 11,000. Let us glance at the details of this new variant.
MG Comet Blackstorm Launched
The exterior and interior of the MG Comet EV bear distinct styling elements to distinguish the Blackstorm Edition from the rest of the lineup. As a result, you will see the ‘Starry Black’ body colour with the Comet EV nameplate finished in dark chrome and the INTERNET INSIDE emblem done in black. I particularly like the red inserts all around the body including on the wheels. These lend a sporty demeanour to the otherwise humble car. On the inside, we witness the black leatherette upholstery with a red badge on the seat headrests which reads Blackstorm. Also, it gets 4 speakers for the audio system for music lovers.
On this occasion, Rakesh Sen, Head of Sales, JSW MG Motor India, said, “The modern-day Indian car buyers are seeking choices that are unique and are a representation of their personality. They are gravitating towards bolder colour options, that sets them apart and make their choices stand-out. We are delighted to launch the COMET BLACKSTORM that promises to enhance everyday commute by infusing style and sophistication. The COMET BLACKSTORM highlights our dedication of constantly meeting our customersโ evolving needs by regularly refreshing our line-up.”
