Now a days major car manufacturers are following a unique trend where the not-so-ambitious cars are launched silently without much of media attention. One of the latest examples is Mercedes-Benz who silently launched its popular crossover / multi utility vehicle Mercedes R Class in Mumbai on 8th August 2012. It is the first ever crossover from the brand and has finally arrived in the Indian automobile market.
Evidently the festive season of Diwali is about to arrive, and therefore it is the best time to introduce new products. Talking about the R-Class now, undoubtedly it is one of its kind and looks practical and premium at the same time. The design is typically German with plenty of Mercedes character in it. The station wagon look is quite new for market and so is for prospective buyers. While many of you may not like the design of the car, to us it is a great car and has been ruling the European markets for years.
