This collision of the Mercedes GLC with the Ford EcoSport highlights the build quality of both these SUVs. Mercedes is world-renowned for making luxury and safe cars while Ford is a mass market brand that offers safety at affordable prices. Ford left India last year but its products have left behind a legacy. Many Ford car owners wanted the carmaker to reconsider its decision but the lack of sales didn’t make business sense. Nevertheless, we often get to experience the build of some of its products even now.

Mercedes GLC Collides with Ford EcoSport
The video clip has been uploaded by Nikhil Rana on his YouTube channel. His aim with his content is to raise awareness among Indian car buyers regarding the importance of buying vehicles with high safety ratings. Moreover, he posts videos showcasing the real-life performance of popular cars in the case of unfortunate scenarios. This video has been reported from Guwahati, Assam. As per the information in the video, a Merc GLC and Ford EcoSport were involved in a head-on collision on the road. Further details of this crash are not available. But it mentions that no one was injured here.

Assessing the damage to both the SUVs, the Merc experiences a crumpled bonnet, broken headlights, damaged front grille, bumper and fenders among others. However, the side pillars are intact preventing the impact from entering the cabin. On the other hand, the impact on the EcoSport is even lesser. The bumper, headlight, grille, etc are damaged but it is nothing severe. Similar to the Merc, the side pillars absorbed all the impact preventing any sort of harmful effect on the passengers. Both these SUVs managed to save the passengers.
