Aftermarket car modification houses have become incredibly popular in the last few days, especially due to their ability to create replicas of premium luxury vehicles
This has to be the first Mercedes G63 6×6 replica constructed from a Mahindra Scorpio. Car shops are gaining access to spare parts from all over the world. In addition to that, the professional mechanics deploy their creativity to design identical replicas of some high-end luxury cars. This is a great way to, sort of, experience the opulent vehicles without having to splurge an inordinate amount of money on the real versions. For now, let us take a look at the details of this latest case.
Mercedes G63 6×6 Replica Based on Mahindra Scorpio
This unique product has been created by jaipur jeep lovers and the details have been uploaded on YouTube. At first glance, we are able to witness something truly unique. The entire front section contains the fascia of an old G-Wagon with a Brabus logo. Furthermore, it gets round LED DRLs around the main LED headlamp cluster, an upright bonnet with turn indicators on the extreme edges, a rugged bumper with horizontal LED DRLs, auxiliary lights on the bumper and roof, etc. On the sides, things get wild. There are colossal metal fenders, G-Wagon-like door panels, and electronic side steps for easier ingress and egress of the passengers.
However, the main attraction is the additional axle with two extra tyres, making it a 6×6 vehicle. What is even more impressive is that all 6 wheels are mechanically attached to the engine and are functional. In fact, the host even shows the differentials for these wheels. Apart from that, it gets 15-inch wheels and a 32-inch tyre with a high profile layout. At the rear, you get a cavernous cargo bed where you can carry loads of luggage. The mechanics have installed metallic rods to secure the trunk. Finally, the rear bumper is metallic as well along with compact taillamps on either side. The host confirms that this replica is made from an old Mahindra Scorpio 4×4 and a Bolero.
Interior Cabin
The modifications are not just restricted to the outside. The dashboard and centre console on the inside is borrowed from an old Thar. Additionally, the front seats are taken from the Fortuner, while the rear seats are borrowed from an Innova. In fact, the driver’s seat is powered electrically. It even gets the turbine-styled Mercedes-inspired AC vents and an electric sunroof. All doors have a speaker to ensure a great experience for music lovers. Finally, the host showcases the lever which operates a 6×6 function. This has to be the rarest 6×6 Mercedes G-Wagon replica I have ever come across.
