In a rather hilarious occurrence, Mercedes G-Wagon, Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 and Land Rover Defender replicas are available at the price of a Maruti WagonR. We stumbled upon these imitation versions of premium vehicles, capable of deceiving many. While the Chinese are notorious for replicating high-end cars, the source of this particular model remains undisclosed. Despite a front fascia that may mislead some, its compact dimensions expose it as a replica. Intriguingly, the original donor model remains unidentified, showcasing the skill of the craftsmen behind its creation. Let’s delve into the specifics here.

This post comes from aakash_panchal_2412 on Instagram. As per the information in this video, the impressive replicas of Mercedes G-Wagon, Toyota Land Cruiser and Land Rover Defender are available at the cost of just Rs 6 lakh. In all honesty, these are quite compelling customized vehicles. The uninitiated among you could easily get fooled. It is only once you glance at these cars from the sides that you recognize that something is fishy. While it is relatively easy to replicate the front and rear profiles, one can’t simply extend the length and wheelbase. Hence, from the sides, these are just about as long as a Maruti WagonR.

In fact, there is even a replica of the Lexus including its iconic spindle grille. The G-Wagon is looking a bit funny with such compact dimensions even though the car modifier has taken immense care while designing the front fascia and a boxy silhouette. But the overall road presence, or lack thereof, makes the entire situation hilarious. The same is the case with other luxury cars. Typically, all of these are humungous SUVs. Hence, looking at them in such miniature versions ensures hilarity.

I believe innovative designs like these add a unique appeal for both online audiences and real-life spectators. However, it’s essential to consider the laws of the country. For example, we’re aware that most car modifications are illegal in India. If stopped and questioned by traffic police, you’re likely to receive a fine. Additionally, they may request the removal of the customizations on your vehicle. Therefore, it’s crucial to first consult your local RTO regarding the legal procedures. In fact, you can modify your registration certificate (RC) accordingly to avoid any issues with authorities.
