Mercedes-Benz is a renowned brand and has a great fan following. Its products redefine luxury and the best one to be given as an example is the Mercedes S Class also known as World’s best car. Its been six years since we are seeing the same old model of S Class with no revisions at the company’s end, at all. Analyzing the features any one would come to know that the car is no ordinary S Class and has been sincerely worked upon by AMG performance studio, a subsidiary of Mercedes Benz specialized in performance cars.
As it has been tweaked by AMG, a great engine is expected under the hood and so does it get. The car is offered with four engine options in total, with two for petrol and two for diesel and they are as follows:
- Mercedes S350 BlueEfficiency MPFI petrol with a power output of 302 BHP
- Mercedes S500 MPFI Petrol with a power output of a whopping 429 BHP
- Mercedes S250 CDi CRDI diesel with a power output of 201 BHP and
- Mercedes S350 BlueTEC CRDI diesel with a power output of 255 BHP
