Unlike other premium car manufacturers like BMW and Audi who had their booth located inside a pavilion, Mercedes-Benz took a a very unique approach to please the visitors at 2012 Auto Expo and had a separate section on the outside showcasing a major portion of its product portfolio. To name some the company had Mercedes A Class Concept – (which we have covered in detail here) , Mercedes SLS AMG, Mercedes SLS Roadster, Mercedes M Class, Mercedes G Class, Mercedes S600 Pullman Guard, Mercedes E Class, Mercedes SLK 350, Mercedes CLS Class, Mercedes E Cell concept car and Mercedes SLS AMG GT3.
Now that we have mentioned all of the models, let us now talk about the same individually.
Mercedes Benz SLS Roadster At Auto Expo 2012

The SLS AMG is the flagship sports car of Mercedes and at the Auto Expo apart from the SLS AMG the company also showcased the SLS Roadster. The car has a retractable soft top and features a 6208 CC V8 engine delivering 571 BHP of max power and 650 Nm of peak torque. Having such a powerful engine lets the car accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and attain a top speed of 317 km/h.

Mercedes Benz M Class At Auto Expo 2012

The M-Class is one of the most successful SUV of the company and and features a 2987 CC V6 engine that delivers 258 BHP of max power and 620 Nm of peak torque. Since it is an SUV and not a sports car, it sprints from 0-100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 224 km/h.

Mercedes Benz G Class At Auto Expo 2012

Mercedes G Class is a legend in itself and has been successful since many decades. The latest generation G Class is a modern iteration of the legendary model and offers all the high end features while retaining the typical classic structure. The car has a 5439 CC V8 engine that develops 507 BHP of max power and 700 BHP of peak torque. It accelerates like a sports car and reaches 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds and offers a top speed of 210 km/h.

Mercedes Benz S600 Pullman Guard At Auto Expo 2012

Also known as the president’s car this is the Mercedes S600 Pullman, a stretched and high security version of Mercedes S Class. As the S600 name suggests this car is no ordinary S Class and has a 5513 CC V12 engine that has a rated max output of 517 BHP and max torque of 830 Nm. The same sprints the car from 0-100 km/h in 8.1 seconds and offers a top speed of 160 km/h.

Mercedes Benz B Class F-Cell Concept At Auto Expo 2012

The B Class F-Cell is Merc’s first series-produced fuel cell car. The most unusual thing about the car is that it’s performance is better than that of a 2.0 litre petrol car and therefore it is completely suitable for everyday commuting. It is a zero-emission vehicle and consumes the equivalent of 3.3 litres of diesel per 100 km. The car is full of safety features and does not compromise on safety features either.
