Matthew and Grace Hayden Compete in Mahindra Scorpio N and XUV700
This video emerges from Mahindra Australia on YouTube. It captures the father-daughter duo engaging in an interesting challenge. They perform a reverse parallel parking challenge. Matthew Hayden gets to go first in the Mahindra Scorpio N. He confesses that he prefers the old-school methods even though the SUVs have the latest technology to aid the driver. Still, he is able to park the Scorpio N in the dedicated space quite comfortably. The only issue is that the SUV is not parked straight. For this, he took 23.03 seconds.
Then came Grace Hayden to try her hand out with the XUV700. Before going in for the attempt, she mentions that she is quite good with parallel parking. She gets into the XUV700 and commences reversing it into the designated spot. She ends up parking the vehicle straight but it is quite some distance away from the side kerb, as well as from the vehicle at the rear. Still, she was able to complete this task in 16.07 seconds. When Matthew Hayden saw the distance from the side and the vehicle behind, he added time as a penalty. In any case, they were involved in a cordial banter and asked the viewers to comment on who is the winner.
