Truck Falls on Maruti Alto 800
This post comes from citynews100 on Instagram. It captures the real-time visuals of the aftermath of this crash. The location of this crash is new the Neelam Metro Station in Delhi. A colossal truck is seen leaning sideways onto the Alto 800. The news reporter mentions that it had fallen onto the Alto due to a crash. He talks to the driver of the truck to know what exactly happened. The driver informs that the driver of the Alto wanted to take the flyover which was some distance away. While approaching it, he was veering left and right for some reason.

Suddenly, he came in front of the truck which caused the truck driver to steer to his right. The truck climbed onto the side curb and hit the divider. In fact, the front side section of the truck is damaged. As it climbed the divider, it tilted sideways and rested on the Alto which was adjacent to it. Thankfully, the side pillars of the Alto were able to absorb the impact and didn’t crumble. Hence, no one was hurt in this case. Also, the truck is resting on the Alto without damaging it too much. A recovery van and a hydra machine have arrived at the spot to separate the two vehicles.

Indian drivers are infamous for flouting traffic regulations and driving carelessly. This is yet another such case. Had the Alto driver maintained driving in his lane, the truck driver would not have had to drive onto the divider and all this could have been avoided. We lose lakhs of lives on our roads each year.
