Maruti has revealed that the upcoming XL6 will be available in two trims and six colours. It will be launched on 21st August and will be sold through Nexa.
Maruti Suzuki is bringing a new premium MPV this month, which will be based on the Ertiga. Maruti XL6 is the upcoming model, which is a 6-seater version of the regular model along with some design changes.
Maruti has started teasing the XL6 on its social media platforms and now, it has finally revealed the trims and colours. XL6 will be available in two trims – Zeta and Alpha with the options of a manual and an automatic gearbox.
Further, the XL6 will be available in six colour options including, Nexa Blue, Pearl Brave Khaki, Prime Auburn Red, Pearl Arctic White, Metallic Magma Grey and Premium Silver.

XL6 will be based on the top-spec Zeta and Alpha variants, so it will come fully loaded with features. Further, we expect some new features like cruise control, auto AC, LED headlamps and a revised SmartPlay infotainment system.
Design changes on the outside include a new front fascia with a two-slat front grille, bulky plastic cladding around the body and addition of roof rails. The tail portion and the alloy wheel design remain the same.
With this, Maruti has also confirmed that it will offer the new 1.5 Litre petrol engine on the XL6, missing out on the diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 105 BHP and 138 Nm of peak torque and comes with the mild-hybrid SHVS system.

A 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed AT will be offered on the XL6. The 1.5 Litre diesel engine with BS-6 compliance is likely to be available on models like XL6, Ertiga, Ciaz, S-Cross and Brezza sometime after the emissions deadline.
Expect the XL6 to be priced between Rs 10 Lakhs to Rs 13 Lakhs (ex-showroom), going against the likes of Mahindra Marazzo and Renault Lody. Stay tuned for our first drive review, as we will be testing the MPV next week.
