Maruti XL6 sketches show that it gets a bold stance at the front with a new two-slat chrome grille with the branding, flanked by sharp LED headlamps on both sides. Down, you get aluminium faux skid plate and the fog lamps.
The front portion looks a lot different from the regular Ertiga but the tail portion looks a bit similar. You get a redesigned tail lamp and a skid plate with some revisions to the rear bumper.

Maruti says that the XL6 will have sporty exteriors, sophisticated interiors and a roomy cabin. It will be position as a premium 3-row vehicle with individual captain seats, making it a 6-seater. The regular Ertiga uses a third-row bench instead of captain seats.
The XL6 will be sold through the Nexa showrooms. Reportedly, it will be based on the top-spec Alpha and Zeta variants of the regular Ertiga and will also be priced somewhat higher than the variants.
For sure, Maruti will equip the XL6 with the new 1.5 Litre petrol engine with SHVS system. The engine produces 104 BHP and 138 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed MT and an optional 4-speed AT. As of now, we are not sure if this MPV will be available with the 1.5 Litre diesel engine.
